What a One-Way Remote Start Does

A one‑way system works like a standard factory key fob:

  • You press start, lock, or unlock, and the remote only sends the signal to the vehicle.
  • No confirmation comes back, so you must see or hear the vehicle to know it worked.

A two‑way system communicates in both directions:

  • You send a command, and the vehicle sends a confirmation back to your remote.
  • The remote may beep, flash, vibrate, or show a message confirming the engine is running.
